The global COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic is reshaping our world, ushering in challenges without parallel. In an industry that demands contact with members of the public, as we are, we have a duty to do everything in our power to keep our staff, clients and donors safe.

Meanwhile, our clients have advised us that the need for our continued assistance remains of vital importance. We are aware that the problem we help address is unlikely to stall during this time.

Keeping the industry we serve front of mind, while conforming to the latest guidelines issued by the government in relation to COVID-19, we have made some changes to our service, effective immediately.

Changes to collections and service

  • We will continue to accept collections booked for April 14th onwards. From yesterday - Wednesday 25th of March - we will not be booking any new collections to be taken between now and April 14th.
  • We intend to honour collections already booked into our system – if you have a collection booked between now and April 14th, a member of our team will contact you directly.
  • We will continue to accept collections booked for April 14th onwards. Please email us on info@cansfordlabs.co.uk or call on 02920 540 567. As we will be operating with reduced staffing levels, we would appreciate an email in the first instance.
  • We've updated our quote request form to make it even more user-friendly at a time when people are away from the office. A copy of this can be provided upon request.

Our laboratory is fully operational

The Cansford Labs laboratory remains operational and we will be processing all samples collected during this time.

We have worked to develop a business continuity plan to see us through this period, including increasing our stock quantities in case of ordering issues.

The rapid onset and fast spread of COVID-19 has meant that the whole world has needed to adapt to new and unprecedented circumstances. While business as usual isn’t quite possible here at Cansford Labs, we’re ensuring that we put all of the legal, health and safety and common sense rules that we need in place, for the best interest of all concerned.
